Sample Data Set - Oak-Hickory SVS Stand Example

There are a number of example forest stands for your use which are downloadable from this page. To properly be able to use these pre-constructed examples please refer to the protocol for downloading files for use with FVS (Forest Vegetation Simulator) also on this web-page. The examples which are now available include two forest types: Oak-Hickory and Northern Hardwood. These simulations were generated from real data from productive sites. The stands representing each type have had three treatments performed on them.

1. An improvement thinning
2. A shelterwood regeneration harvest, and
3. A series of diameter limit harvests.
